This OpenSCAD library creates models of metric external retaining rings.
This is based on the standard: ANSI B27.7-1977,R1999
These rings are also Part# as follows 3AM1-[XX] ( where [XX] is shaft diameter in mm)
usage:
ANSI_3AM1(S);
Where "S" is the nominal shaft diameter for the retaining ring
This model is intended for creating visually accurate mockups of part assemblies in OpenSCAD for screenshots and animations.
It is not meant to be 3D printed.
