This is a simple crank protector (Crank Boot) for mountain bikes. It comes in handy if you don’t want to dent or scratch your cranks when riding in rough terrain.

The crank boots are designed with little wiggle room on the sides if for some reason your cranks are larger than averaged. These are tested on two different bikes with a SLX crank set, the crank boots held up in both cases and survived many rides through woods and my local downhill park.
