Book Scanner Frame

This is a quick rendering of my book scanner plan frame concept. Please know that this is simply a concept (do not print this). It will be easier to simply build the frame using PVC pipe from your local big box hardware store and cutting boards from somewhere like bed bath and beyond. Pivot joints will be the hardest to do in a way that will last, but you can use skate bearings on a rod threaded through the upper frame, heim joints, or even offset hinges.
