The hat is a separate piece as printing in place wouldn't work without a lot of support, it looks way better like this - printed flat and then carefully using a hot bed to gently bend the edges to make it look floppy. The hat slides off fairly easily, you may want to add a small blob of blu-tac.
This is best printed with a raft as the hat sticks to the bed and is really hard to get off otherwise, and the legs will probably detach from the bed without it.
