This is a dummy battery for a Canon PowerShot (we specifically use the SD1400 IS). We have this file so that the camera will power on without the real battery inside. We use this for near space balloon launches, where the normal batteries cannot go. The notches running down the side of the battery are slots for wires to directly hook onto the camera terminals inside the camera.
