Ceiling fan string switch

I made this so I could turn my ceiling fan light off from my bed. I don't know if this will work on everyone's ceiling fans, but if it has a pull cord, and a small cylinder housing it probably will. This just adds another cord to your ceiling fan, you can still use the original pull cord.
