I designed this for those who have ClosetMaid shelving (the rack looking ones) near or above their printer like I do. I actually built a full shelf in my double door closet just below chest high and I have both my 3d printers and an old laptop (running Octoprint on Linux). At the top there is a ClosetMaid brand shelf but it sits just a little to high to place filament on top. I needed a way to hang them...all of them (variety of sizes).
