Pool filter plug to garden hose adapter

MALE STA-RITE 27001-0017 to MALE 5/8 garden hose. I wouldn't doubt this plug is pretty common to pool filters.

I have an in ground spa and decided to drain and refill. I don't have a sump, so I made this adapter so I can run my pump and utilize pressure inside my filter to drain through my garden hose and into the front yard. My garden hoses leak a lot, but this setup is draining my spa very quickly.
