I really like using an [ATX power supply](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ATX#Power_supply) for the 3Dprinters I build. Even though they come in a variety of wattages and supply abundant 12-volt happiness, they have a bunch of other wiring harnesses attached. You COULD snip or unsolder the unnecessary wiring, but opening the case will certainly invalidate your warranty, and maybe some day you will wish you hadn't. You could just zip-tie the wires out of the way, but that looks rather unpolished (
