A rotary tool is practically essential in any model based hobby. There are many top quality units such as Dremel on the market, but for occasional use, the Drill Master 80 piece kit from Harbor Freight, that is frequently on sale for $7, is mostly adequate. It does, however, lack speed control and a organizer for the accessories, so I decided to make my own. I also designed a holder that could be secured to the work bench with screws or “C” clamps to firmly hold the unit in a fixed position.
