My favorite new tool acquisition is a cheap Harbor Freight special, cordless screw driver made by Drill Master. I've used it constantly since getting it and my only two complaints are how hard it is to remove the bits, which I suppose is both feature a swell as bug, and how easy it is to loose the bits when they're not in use.
