Redesigned base to fit Adafruit neopixel 16 bit ring https://www.adafruit.com/product/1463 and trinket mini controller https://www.adafruit.com/product/1501
Scaled up mid section and top to fit the new base.
Plug it into your usb port.
Use the "Strand Test" Arduino code from Adafruit to drive the neopixels

Created a "Standalone base" so you don't have to plug it into a USB port. Pick the base that you prefer. Uses a pushbutton toggel switch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KJHR
