This was designed as a modular base hanger for use in laboratory settings for holding things to lab benches and ledges. It comes with the base mount and pieces for it, along with a sample book holder insert, though you could keep the dimensions of the pin, 10mm diameter circle around a 5mm diameter base circle that is 10mm long.
