This little gizmo will keep your 3 (26g) core wires together while fusing your alien/clapton coils. I use 3 placed along the the core wires, one close to the chuck of the drill, the second more toward the middle and the third 3/4 of the way down. It's designed in a way that you won't have to keep starting and stopping to slide them down the wires, they'll slide on their own when the fuse wire pushes them down the core wires.
