If you want to put your Motor in the front of your RC scale car take a look. No need to buy in aluminium if you can simply print it.
I added a picture of the previous 2 gear version to show how to mount it in the rails. As you can see i flipped the design for the weight of the motor to come deeper.

Hint: With no modification it might not fit the standard SCX10 rails.

Version 1:
Motor is down. Spur Gear is somewhat high and might get in touch with the hood of your rig.
