It's a tight fit for the cans in Scandinavia, if you want it as watertight as possible, make it at 100% then sand the lip down till you can fit it on a opened can (Closed cans are more sturdy, but who wants the lid on a unopened can? :P)
You can use a unopened can to wear/smooth the lip after sanding it down a bit (by fitting it and then just rotate it back and forth while fitted) :)
