replacement sterilite container clip

I buy lots of these sterilite containers. I imagine a lot of 3D printing hobbyists do. Frequent usage means the clips eventually break. Instead of having to spend another $5 - $12 dollars and throw away a perfectly good container, I drafted a replacement clip.

I know it's lame, but I use a lot of them and it is wasteful to have to purchase again. The attached image is the container where I keep my coffee. Of course that's going to break first, using it everyday for over 2 years.
