HTC Vive Base Station Mount Flat extension to be used with double sided tape

HTC Vive comes with mounts for base station that needs to be mounted using screws. I am renting a place, and drilling walls is not possible. I wanted to use some kind of double sided tape to mount base stations on a wall. The problem is that stock mounts have a very low surface area on it's back, which makes really bad adhesion to a wall. To make it stick very well you need as much of the surface as possible. This extension gives me large surface area.

I've used heavy duty good mounting strip
