Cat water fountain for tap

There are many cat fountains on the market which create constant movement of the water. Some time ago I took PETSAFE DRINKWELL ORIGINAL DRINKING FOUNTAIN:

It's working well but even if it has carbon filter it requires weekly cleaning (the walls cover with geesy substrate from bacteria) and filter replacement.
