I looked up the dimensions for LEGO bricks then modeled a plate full of studs to merge with the TEAL drone top cover.
It might need some reinforcing ribs on the underside of the new, cut out area beneath the plate. The increased room could also be used to add mountings for additional equipment inside the drone. Perhaps some PCB mounts for electronics to go with things snapped on top.
