DIY Magnetic build plate
Update February 15, 2018:
I am using an "Additional BuildTak FlexPlate" , https://www.buildtak.com/product/flexplate/ ,with PEI mounted on it. The original magnetic sheets mounted on the build plate remains intact. It holds great and there will be no horizontal slippage. However when I printed a large box with thick walls taking up almost the whole build area, I needed to add clips to prevent the print from lifting the corner of the flexplate. There is no problem
