Tent Screw Peg adapter

I got sick of bending conventional tent pegs when driving them into hard or rocky ground. So I came up with this adapter. It turns a 12mm coach bolt into a Screw-In tent peg. I use 200mm long bolts available from most hardware retailer.

Works well in firm or rocky ground. I wouldn't recommend it for sandy loose ground.

You'll also need a 1/4' to Hex adapter to attach your socket to a drill
