In the future, I hope to make rapid prototypes of custom dies for sheet metal fabrication. I have tested this setup bending strips of stainless steel that were .020", .040" and .062" thick to 90 degrees. I designed this by imitating a European brake die set up with a swappable tip.
The stl files are currently configured so that you can force fit a .125" radius pin into them to reduce wear of the plastic. In my setup I used McMaster part number 97395A491.
