trash compactor key/knob

I own a trash compactor where a plastic key/knob operates the unit. Without the key/knob the unit is non-functional. The first replacement cost me $70. After five years of normal use it broke. When I said to my wife I could print one, she said "put that printer to good use and recoup the money you spent."
