Microphone and Flasher Combiner - clamp to Hotshoe

I have created this thing since I sometimes take video and make photo's at the same time.
The hotshoe place is taken by the flasher and i had no way to attach my Rode Microphone.
I created this thing to clamp around the ring of a Canon 430ex flasher (but it might suite others) Diameter of this ring is 35 mm thickness is 4.6mm.
I have it attached to a Canon EOS 100d which is a tight fit.
