This is a system I made to replace D batteries with 26650 batteries.
You can choose if you want to replace 6 D batteries with 3 26650 batteries or 4 or you can replace 2 Ds with 1 26650.
I included 2 versions of my D battery blanks. One that is made with a recess for a dome nut and one that uses a washer and nut on either side.
I designed this to increase the power in my Nerf Rhino Fire without destroying the battery tray completely.

Hardware:
M4 X 50mm Alan-cap
M4 X 40mm Alan-cap
M4 nuts
Washers
For D blank
M4 threaded rod
M4 Dome nut (depending on blank)
M4 nut/s
