I had to install a router 3m high on the wall next to a socket - without drilling. So I decided to use the wall socket to hold the router.
Put the two holders into the wholes of the router and then slide the router up (or the bracket down) and secure this position with the hook. after that you can easily put the plug through the bracket into the socket.
