Roman Gladius with center support

I printed the original in pieces and glued them together, but was not happy with the glued connections. It broke.

To give it some extra strength, I remixed it in Solidworks and created a central channel to fit in an M4 threaded rod I had laying around. The rod will fit down the entire length and will stick out in the pommel. I glued it in with epoxy in the tip and used the piece sticking out to temporarily fit a nut during the glueing process. After glueing you can cut off the end of the rod
