Baseball Bat (Remixed) for Skimbal's Jumbo Lego Minifigure

Like a few others I've seen on here, I was having trouble getting Afrokid's baseball bat to print properly. The bottom layers would print fine, no adhesion issues or anything. Then about 20% into printing the bat, it would just get lost and start spitting out a ball of plastic. I changed settings, I slowed down. Nothing helped.

So, I fired up 123D and recreated the bat myself. I half expected to get the same outcome considering how similar the designs are. But lo and behold, mine printed just
