The original version worked, but had major issues in terms of the camera wobbling with every movement of the motors. This newer version should avoid much of that. The mount is slightly optimized, but is otherwise identical. The brace is what's most important, it extends support all the way down to the camera mount and uses less filament than the original design, despite being larger.
