Mantelpropeller (ducted fan)

I did some experiments with fans and a little toy motor. The ducted propeller with rotating ring is a very stable construction. You mave have to find out which support structures are the best for you.

Diese vier Mantelpropeller (Impeller) sind das Ergebnis von ein paar CAD-Experimenten und der Versuch, aus einem alten Spielzeugmotor noch etwas, wenn schon nicht sinnvolles, dann wenigstens lehrreiches, zu basteln. Durch den Mantelring wird der Rotor recht stabil. Das Herausfinden der optimalen
