Motion Sensor Visor

I made this visor for the motion sensor on a Brinks model 7011 flood light. I have been replacing flood lights every couple of years because the motion sensor stops working. This light faces South. I suspect that constant exposure to UV rays deadens the sensor (let me know if this is correct!). So I made this visor to shield (mostly) the sensor from direct sunlight. It's attached to the sensor with double sided adhesive foam tape. I'm sharing it in the hope that it might be useful to someone els
