Lately I've been printing 3kg spools and I've made some jumbo spool holders for each of my printers... here's the Creality CR-10 version that works on all current CR-10 and CR-10S. You can use a 3/4in or 20mm diameter PVC pipe for the spindle or else print the spindle in the thing files.

It has recessed holes to fix it with the t nuts to the CR-10 frame. But it fits so snug you may not need to.

This is nice and solid and will hold up to a 5kg spool.
