Jean Baptiste, Joan the Baptist from Rouen Cathedral

I dedicate my account to the valorisation of art pieces ,in danger, destructed or underestimated, rarely shown or not avaiable in 3d.

This statue of Jean le Baptiste is not presented to the tourists but it is visible in a dark area inside the cathedral of Rouen. It was contemporary at the Joan Of Arc era and she undoubtly saw this sculpture. Many of the sculptures of the cathedral of France are replicas, because the original sculptures have suffered. This one is one of them.
