Built my own version of an Ikea Lack enclosure for my MonoPrice Maker Select. I tried to keep the overall design as simple as possible. As a bonus I wanted to be able to control the LED lights remotely from OctoPrint. Using the System Command Editor plugin for OctoPrint along with the GPIO command from WiringPi I was able to control the lighting with a relay. To control the lights locally I added a momentary switch which communicates with a Python script running on the Raspberry Pi.
