My family is collecting coins and couldn't find a way to determine easily which 1982 pennies are 95% copper and which ones were mostly zinc. This balance will solve that issue. Place a 1982 penny onto the scale and if it tips it is a copper penny. If it rests in the air, it is a zinc penny. There are two photographs showing an old 1964 penny and a 2014 penny as example
