Applause Machine

The Applause Machine is an Automata that I designed and build for a school project. I first started in Solidworks and created an assemble in which all the parts are mated so they can move together in order to make the hands clap at different times. Once the assembly was finished, I then laser cut out all the pieces on 1/4 inch thick wood. The pieces were then assembled and glued together. Although, the design works in Solidworks, due to the friction caused by the wood on wood pieces, it did not
