My house has some of the old style narrow wooden shutters. The wooden pin which the shutter slats pivot on can easily break leaving the shutter slats laying crooked. This design creates a replacement pin with a flat piece of plastic to glue the replacement pin to the shutter slat.

To use this part first make sure the hole in the frame is clear and is about 1/4" in diameter. Make sure that the end of the shutter slat is smooth and no remains of the pin are present. a utility knife or file can
