Only 2mm thick. The screw holes are recessed so the screws sit flush. Its designed to allow maximum air flow while concealing the fans angled supports and wires. I used a "Sharpie Paint" marker to fit in the white rain drop. The inside details all have a full round over. cutter edge is hard corners.
