If we make a circular cut around a vertex of a cube, we get a spinner after adding a bit of tolerance. The structure has a strong aesthetic appeal. My first experiment was given to a little kid in my math class, who said he likes it so much and he wanted to keep it. Of course, I said yes, with the parent’s approval.
To keep the core from coming out, we can add a groove. So I tried it, based on my previous work on spinning structures
