Adapter for connecting a PET bottle to a hose. Push the ribbed insert into the end of the hose. Push the plug into the end of the bottle, in the direction required. The plug is tapered so that if the hose is pulled, it will be clamped tighter. The 90 degree bend can be screwed onto the end of the bottle to prevent the hose bending and blocking the water flow.

This was originally used to improve the flow rate in a makeshift drip irrigation system for a polyhouse.
