A spindle Thread protector for lathes with a 1 1/2" x 8tpi Nose thread, such as the Warco 918 (and the vast majority of 9x20 lathes iirc) and some Boxfords (AUD, BUD, CUD etc.)

Designed to protect the nose threads when transporting, storing and using collet chucks, when the thread is otherwise uncovered.
