If you are upgrading your Monoprice Mini with a Mk8 style extruder setup AND you want to print in TPU or other flex filament you will need such a fixture to eliminate the space between the extruder wheel pinch and the start of the bowden. Note: this assumes you are keeping the original notched extruder wheel and flat bearing.
