I wanted to use this fang fan by jneilliii:

It connects quite well to this fan duct by superpotatofudge:
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2160958
However, that fan duct blocks a lot of airflow out the sides of the heatsink. Since the x-carriage itself blocks airflow out the back of the heatsink on the CR-10, that combo would have hindered cooling quite a lot, I suspect.
Anyway, I much preferred this hanging bracket method by junaling:
