Most of available Quick Release (QR) systems are designed for DSLRs.These QR plates are quite big, not convenient for small compact cameras and the use of theses plates can render the the battery or memory card slot inaccessible.

This low footprint QR system has been designed to solve these issues and the plates are compatible with the widespread RC2 Manfrotto clamp (with an adapter - www.thingiverse.com/thing:2615567).
