Cable management cap for Ikea furniture

I happen to have a mobile phone charger under the desk. I bought a long cable so I can charge my phone and have it in my hands without having to have the charger near me. I also like the cable not being on the table.

The problem is that I had nowhere to hold the cable so I designed this piece to replace my desktop's original one and so I can hang the cable there while not in use.

My desk is an Ikea MALM.
