After-market Apple Charger plate fix

I've ordered these threaded apple chargers off of Amazon and they worked fine until a plastic plate near the part of the cable that plugs into the phone. After the plate fell off the cable soon began to bend a lot more easily until it eventually broke. I've ordered a few of them on Amazon and the plate issue seemed to be a problem every single time, for the plates tend to fall off pretty quickly. So I attempted to make a fix for it.
