Cheap Car Clock Stand

I bought the cheap clock for my car of eBay. The stand / clip which comes with it is OK for clipping to the vent (ish) but the base for use with a sticky pad was woefully too small.
This stand slots into the back of the clock replacing the original and provides a 20mm x 40mm surface for using double-sided foam tape to adhere it to the dash.
