At my job every day I tell people to build defences in layers, so I'd be a bit of a hypocrite if I didn't take the same attitude to fire safety. For that reason I've chosen to mount an automatic fire extinguisher on my 3d printer to provide a final line of defence.
The Elide Fire Ball comes with a metal cage that the ball sits in, allowing it to be triggered from beneath. Unfortunately, the cage is built to be attached with M3 bolts to an upright support, and I wanted to attach it to the top
