Removing position on E-twow steering rod

I have a E-twow scooter and I notice that when I pass from folding status to riding one, there is two different positions on the iron bar. I only use the second one. So I have to push each time the clip for securing a position to go to the next position.

I created a small piece which go to the iron bar in order to remove the middle position.
